Kerry Nolan earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami after receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from Penn State University. Since completing her education, Kerry’s professional focus has been orthopedic and sports rehabilitation with certifications in weightlifting and powerlifting. Kerry’s career in physical therapy was prompted after her own experiences with soccer-related injuries and surgery. Finding a love for strength training, due to both its physical and mental benefits, has inspired Kerry to share that passion with her clients regardless of age, gender, background, or experience.
Kerry’s career has exposed her to all levels of athlete, from weekend warrior to professional level – but, no matter the client, her focus continues to be creating an alliance centered around each individual’s personal goals and developing self-efficacy through exercise, strength, and education. Kerry enjoys blurring the line between rehab and performance training, and is passionate about eliminating stereotypes and empowering others to utilize strength training to benefit general health, confidence, athletic ability, mental toughness, and to create a life-long love for wellness.
Personally, Kerry enjoys powerlifting, soccer, skiing, hiking, paddleboarding, and/or doing anything and everything with her dog, Mick. If she is not participating in one of those activities, you will likely find her at a local taproom or brewery!

Shawnee grew up here in Lake Tahoe. She followed her passion out to Denver, Colorado to play four years of collegiate soccer at Regis University while achieving a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience. It was at Regis where Shawnee also earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and found her passion for rehabilitation back to performance of athletes.
Shawnee has a broad range of experience. She has been teaching yoga since 2013 at home and abroad and curiously views the body as a whole. Having spent time working under a Sports Specialist and being a competitive athlete herself, she focuses on returning athletes not only back to function but back to peak performance.
Shawnee integrates the nervous system into her scope of practice in all realms of healing and achieving goals. She loves treating all athletes inclusive of spinal cord injury. Shawnee spent six months interning at Craig Hospital focusing on Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation. She worked with individuals directly after injury with in-patient rehab and transitioned into week-long re-evaluations of individuals who were one year to forty-seven years post-injury.
Shawnee practices with evidence-based research to meet the needs of each individual. She has a passion to connect athletes of all levels back to their bodies to reach their goals before and after injury. She has a passion for strengthening the mind as well as the body to navigate athletes back to their true confidence in performing at their highest level.
Shawnee loves to travel the world but also enjoys everything this beautiful home has to offer. From backcountry skiing and rock climbing to mountain biking and running on Tahoe’s pristine trails, she can’t get enough of this big blue lake.
